This wine is similar to the 1997 Shiraz but with greater structure and length, which is a factor of vine maturity. Dan feels that this wine is the best Shiraz made at Picardy so far. Once again it is for those who like the French oaked, Rhone style Shiraz wines which will certainly improve with age. |
