{Wine Label} THE WINE FRONT WINE OF THE MONTH Picardy Pemberton Pinot Noir 2005 Belter. Great expression, great structure, great flavour and great value. This is a multiple buy if you're a pinot fan. Sweet-sour flavours, ripe definition, lots of chalky, earthen tannin and real length. Complex, tangy, tannic pinot noir - and it will cellar. I've drunk two bottles of this and while the second bottle showed a hint of eucalypt, I still loved it. It's a ripper. Drink; 2007-2015. 93 points. |
